About Andrea and Neal
Neal and Andrea have been married since 2006, and Uncorked Inspiration is their first attempt at turning something they love - wine, paint, and DIY crafts - into a business. Neal's passion for art and his desire to help people unleash their creativity is a perfect match with Andrea's love of teaching and organizational prowess.
Their hope is that you have as much fun as the do at Uncorked's events. So sit back, create, sip, and repeat.
It began with, "I could do that."
Beginning with an excited conversation in their living room to a store front in the heart of Aggieville, Uncorked Inspiration is the fruition of a dream blended with hard work, a few tears, and a lot of laughter.
In 2015, Neal and Andrea formed Uncorked Inspiration, LLC and began doing pop-up events in the MHK area. In 2016, they took a short break and focused on bringing painted rocks to craft fairs around Kansas. In 2017, they struck up a deal with Iron Clad co-working in order to continue their paint and sip journey. Finally, on May 1, 2018, with nervous hands, they signed a lease agreement for a space in Downtown Manhattan. During the nearly two years they spent in that location, Neal and Andrea preached their paint and sip mantra, "Don't dip your brushes in your wine!"
In October of 2019, an opportunity for growth occurred. It was a private message from one of their "repeat offenders" with a link to an ad which stated that Straight Upp Creative Studio was for sale.
And so begins a new journey for the duo, with the opening of Uncorked Inspiration in their new location in Aggieville.
