Summer Kids Classes
Our kids summer art classes are an exciting way for your child to explore their creative side. Whether they enjoy painting or working with clay, we have a class to fit their needs.
Beginner Pottery and Ceramics Classes
Recommended for 5th Grade and up
- • At the end of the week, each artist will have created one of each: pinch pot, coil pot, slab pot, armature structure
- • Students will learn basic clay use, understanding of clay tools, and vocabulary to aid in understanding of ceramic pottery
- • If time allows, we will weave in various aspects of art history and ceramic artists
All classes are Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 12pm. Cost is $110. Use the links below to sign up for one or more classes.

Summer Painting Classes
Recommended for ages 7 and up
- • At the end of the week, each artist will have a series of four canvases that work together as one piece of wall art
- • Basic painting techniques such as blending, shading, shape and composition will be taught.
- • Classes will discuss the color wheel and terms such as: monochromatic, analogous, complementary, and triadic.
- • We’ll talk about how color creates mood, tension, harmony, and other compositional elements within a work of art.
- • If time allows, we will weave in various aspects of art history and how artists used color within their work.
